Mobile Share Advantage increase
My cellular bill increased by $5 this month. I have the Mobile Share Advantage plan. I received no information from AT&T about this increase. Seems to me the company should have let us know about this in advance. My 3GB data plan was very adaquate. Now I’m forced, with no warning, into a 6GB plan I don’t need. I have been a loyal customer for many years and think I should have been given a choice in this matter.

You were notified, everyone was. It was on your bill at least once, probably twice. Go back and look. It was a price increase, the extra data was an attempt to justify the increase. Not accepting the increase was not an option. You can switch to a Mobile Share Flex plan and probably pay less. You can do that at any time.
