Location billing code on usage

I was looking at my usage on My AT&T and it shows a call, actually 6 calls to a local number but the location is listed HMBL SOHML. Does anyone know what or where that is?

Hi @kimberj1967!

Great question!

When you place calls to a particular location, especially to a landline, that location will be coded by the service provider there, typically from the Central Office in that service area. It will then show on your AT&T Wireless usage and bill.

Searching online and through our system, I was unable to find information about the HMBL SOHML location code; however, these are generally going to be abbreviations for the location.

Please let us know where in Texas you’re located, and I’ll be happy to further research this to try and pinpoint what that location abbreviation is.

Thank you and have a great day!

the HMBL is Humble, TX. The SOHML may be some reference to the fact that it is South Houston (TX) Market.
