International Day Pass does NOT show up in my ATT account...

So I arrive in Costa Rica and my $10 International Day Pass (IDP) activates and sends me a text pretty much immediately. This is what I expected and this is where the expectations stop...Screen Shot 2017-04-02 at 8.36.27 PM.pngText that AT&T sent me immediately when "activating" my IDP plan.

Since it's for 24 hours, afterwards I could turn my phone OFF for 10 hours and then use it again (in essence being here and semi-using it for 58 hours with a 10 hour gap but only a $20 charge, right?), but they don't send me any indication that I've used a second day of this (I know I have). So it's pretty difficult to know how this works.

I've looked on-line at att.com and see no indication that I've used one IDP let alone multiples. Is there somewhere I can check to see the $10 charge? My phone calls are marked as International ($0.00), my texts and data has no such indication (but marked $0.00)

I really expected to get a text at the beginning of each 24 hour period, how else do I know when the 24 hours are up?

I'm kind of frustrated (and I don't know why) that it's not there.

When I go over my MSV data plan I get a $15 text for each GB, right? Can I see that charge if I check on-line? (Why not?!?)

I'm not trying to shave off 20 minutes a day so I can squeak out an extra day, it just seems like this should be more transparent and since I know there will be more questions about this in the future, I'm trying to diagnose now...

And now my account says:

International Messaging Overage: 3

I'm sure the cost will be ZERO, but they could certainly make this a LOT more clear for the customers.

Hello @ garylapointe

I hope the weather in Costa Rica is great, and your trip is going well! The International Day Pass is such a great option for travel and I would be happy to help.

The charges are normally not finalized until the end of the billing cycle, which means the pending charges may not show as daily fees. Because of the way we receive reporting from our international partners, voice or data usage may not match your exact dates of travel, and voice or data usage may be applied to your following bill period.

To make sure everything looks right, I am reaching out via private message to your Forum’s Inbox.  This way, if anything needs adjusted we can take care of it right away.

I look forward to speaking to you! Enjoy your day
