Fee increases and plan changes without notice or approval
Am I the only one who has been getting zapped by AT&T?
My July/2018 bill showed that AT&T had suddenly upped my plan to the next higher level, increasing my monthly bill by almost $7. Unbelievable! Shouldn't I have a say in what plan I want?
It took a few calls to get it straightened out (refunded and changed back). At first, they only refunded the $5 plan increase but, NOT the increase in fees/taxes caused by the change in plans.
Then I noticed that the "Administrative" fees were increased in April/2018 (from $0.76 to $1.26), OVER 66%, WHOA !!
AND, increased AGAIN in July/2018 ((from $1.26 to $1.99), Nearly 60%. WHAT is going on?!!
Anyone else seeing such fine, above board, service?

Yes, the admin fee was increased twice in the last few months. This was done for everyone, regardless of plan. You must be on a Mobile Share Advantage plan. They did not move you to the next higher plan. It was a price increase. What they did was raise the price of everyone’s plan and doubled their data to justify the increase. The price increase is not optional. You were notified of all of those increases on your bill.

There WAS a plan change. I DID get it changed back. The rate WAS changed
back to the original. I DID get the refunds.
And, the fee INCREASES are ridiculous.
Didn't President Trump's tax plan cut a lot of taxes for AT&T? I guess that
was not enough.

I do not work for ATT. You might want to look at what plan you are on now. As I said, the price increase for Mobile Share Advantage was not optional. When you called to complain, they probably moved you to a Mobile Share Flex plan.

What plan were you on before?
What plan were you changed to?
What plan are you on now?
No one likes fee increases...ever. I think we've all wished you would have filled up before work after noticing gas jumped 10 cents a gallon by that afternoon. But, they're part of life. If we think they are unwarranted, we can always shop elsewhere.
