Discounts Not Applied

I had a Mobile Share15GB plan with Rollover Post-Paid Wireless account with (3) cell phones and (3) tablets.

I changed the plan to  6GB plan, removed (1) cell phone and all (3) tablets. When I got my 'final' bill for the previous plan, they didn't include the (3) $25 discounts that have always (at least 2-1/2 years) been applied to the cell phones on the account. When I called, the first rep I spoke to agreed it was an error and transferred me to the IMS? department (not sure if that's the right name). That person (Abby ID# AH3630) admitted it was strange but ultimately told me that the discounts "probably stopped or ran out" and would only issue me a $21.03 credit for who knows what. A $21.03 credit for a $96.30 issue is not acceptable and makes zero sense. No one, and no bill, ever stated a duration of those discounts.

I've been an AT&T customer for 15+ years and I really don't want to have to change but I will if this isn't resolved. I understand this is just a forum and a resolution here is not possible. What I'm looking for is if someone has any suggestions to get this resolved so I don't have to leave AT&T.

I realized what you were saying after I hit the 'reply' button.....yes, there should be somewhat of a credit from changing plans.

I searched new plans on the website. The new plan prices reflected my government contractor discount.  When I actually ordered the plan the discount was not applied. Why show the discount when I am doing research but not tell me it does not apply until I request the plan?

Hello @momsterinWA, we're happy to help with information about our Signature discounts.

When checking out, the plan costs will reflect the difference in plan costs, along with estimated savings with autopay. Keep in mind, AT&T Signature Program customers can save $10 per line, per month on AT&T Unlimited Premium. They may also enjoy additional benefits based on the agreement with their employer, school, or organization.

Visit our Signature Hub to see what wireless deals you can receive with your employer.

We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

@momsterinWA

Did you switch to the premium plan or the starter plan?

Your signature program fan number will still be applied no matter which plan you switch to.  You should see your signature discount number still listed on your overview page, yes?

But a discount on service  ($10) is only provided on the premium plan reducing it to the same cost as the extra plan.

You also must have autopay and paperless billing to get that $10 per line discount

Thank you for the response, @momsterinWA.

We understand how important it is to change your plan and still get your discount.

As @formerlyknownas stated, to get the discount, you will want to change to our Premium Unlimited Plan. The Started and Extra do not qualify for the Signature Program.

We hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach back out with any other questions.

Weeeeellll, sort of correct.

The fan discount number and the signature discount will still be applied to your plan if you change to the starter plan but it will not discount service. There may be other benefits to your fan discount like waived activation or upgrade fees or discounts on accessories that you can still use because you have a signature discount.  If the only benefit to your discount was a reduced service rate, that is only available on the Premium plan as stated.
