Customer Care Question

I paid $200 to have my phone unlocked because I thought I had to go to another provider. I changed my mind and never quit using ATT (this was a month ago, I still pay my ATT bill on time). Can I get my money back and ‘re-lock’ it? Thanks so much!

ATT does not charge to unlock phones. If you paid $200, it was probably what you owed on the phone. So no, you can’t get that back. It was money you had to pay eventually anyway.

@Niveazesi No, that's like paying off any other bill and then asking for the money back afterward.

Your bill will now be lower to reflect the payments that you do not need to make any more, so you'll get that money "back" eventually.
