Charged for international call I did NOT make.
I was charged $950 for a 3hr international call to Mauritania (africa) at 3:33am in the morning. I have been an ATT wireless customer for 30 years and have NEVER made an international call. I googled this and it is a scam. I have been on the phone with ATT Customer service several times to several different departments regarding this matter. They only offered to refund $400 of this call I still owe the rest on a call I did not make. One customer service agent even had the nerve to suggest "perhaps someone got hold of your phone and made the call"... NO I live alone I know I was home alone when that call was "supposedly" made. And I would have notice my phone gone for 3 hrs. She also suggested "bundling my services to offset this cost". I no longer trust ATT and will not get any more services from them. I am starting to think perhaps this is an inside scam within ATT to make money. although I have been a customer for so long I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation. Also what if this were to happen again. How can customers be protected from this?

File an FCC complaint. There are dozens of similar complaints and AT&T has to stop paying these bogus charges.
