Change plan effective next bill

I have a post paid service. If I want to change the plan effective next bill what does that mean? Am I switched immediately (e.g. entitlement) and just pay the new price next bill? Or I switched when next bill is generated?

Re: Change plan effective next bill

If you change your plan effective with the new bill, the new plan goes into effect at the start of the next billing period. You can start new plans mid billing period but then you get prorated charges on the next bill for the difference in plan costs.

Re: Change plan effective next bill

I don’t remember what the plan is exactly but my question about entitlement is say I am on a 5gb data plan and want to go to 10gb data plan, do I get 10gb immediately or I get 10gb starting next bill date?

Re: Change plan effective next bill

If it starts with the next billing cycle, you do not get it until the next billing cycle. You remain on the 5GB plan until your plan renews.
