Additional Federal USF Charges with In'tl Day Pass services
I had signed up for In'tl Day Pass last month for 8 days ($80). I was charged $1.90 per day FUSC for each of the eight days I spent overseas, which added $16 to our bill in addition to the $80 international day pass charge. This additional charge was never disclosed to me when I signed up for it via AT&T customer representative. Being a loyal customer to AT&T from past 10 years, I'm very disappointed being overcharged like this. Is there any way I can request to get refund? I called CS but they refused to provide refund. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Vasoyanr
The federal universal service charge (FUSC) is a government surcharge that all telecom companies are required to charge. This surcharge goes to programs that make local phone service affordable for all Americans by providing discounts on services to schools, libraries, customers in rural regions, and low-income families. FUSC is one of the taxes and fees that are added to every bill. You can learn more about these taxes here: https://soc.att.com/2MfNsks. I hope this helps.

Some reported tax on day pass as high as $3 per day. Depends on your state taxes as well.
