About deposit refund
Edited by Phil-101 on Jan 9, 2014 at 10:34:41 AM

I have a two year contract for iPhone 5 in my family plan on November 2012, and I have paid $500 as a deposit. Now, it's more than one year, but our holder hasn't receive the check for deposit refund. So, how can I get the deposit back?

To have your security deposit refunded, the following is required:

  • You must complete 12 months of active service with AT&T.
  • During the 12 months, your account cannot be suspended for nonpayment.
  • Your account must be current for the deposit to be refunded.

the refund will be sent to the address on file for the account holder

The Security deposit is first applied to your account balance, and then if there's any leftover, it may be sent.

There may be an additonal way, but probably the easiest way to check is to check the balance. See if it shows a reduced amount due to the deposit, ect. It also may not have finished applying, it may take some time.
