local Costco (330). I eventually moved my wireless service to AT&T in order to take advantage of an additional discount of $25 off ($10 wireless/$15 DirecTV). This is where things went south.
I was told I needed to purchase ($848) a new iPhone. I did not.
I was told my combined bill would be less than $150 after paperless billing/autopay. This month’s bill was $282.
After spending 10+ hours on the phone, I was referred to Brad and given a PIN# (2164) / (800)824-9081 and assured everything was being taken care of. Nothing. When I called back to inquire what was going on, I was told my PIN# had expired.
Upon returning to Costco, the AT&T/DirecTV kiosk had been removed and replaced by Verizon. Apparently, I was far from the only one who was lied (Google DirecTV Costco and you will see) to.
There are many, many additional twists and turns, but this has easily been the worst consumer experience of my life.

The $25 discount off TV service was only for unlimited data plans and hasn't been offered in over a year. Most recent discount is $15 if your plan qualified. The $10 discount for auto pay and paperless billing depends on the plan you signed up for.
Costco is not ATT or Verizon. You should always verify offers with the carrier.
