**** ARE THESE GUYS ****
I was looking at traveling to London and the rates for Int'l roaming... is my math wrong or are these guys complete i-d-i-o-t-s? At what point are the plans a good deal? Not until I am way into overage.
Am I reading these plans right? http://www.att.com/shopcms/media/att/2012/shop/wireless/promotions/International-Wifi/New10_30_12_Europe_World_Travel_Minutes_Final.pdf
@ 10 min of use...
30 min plan = $40 ($30/mo + $1/min * 10)
60 min plan = $67.50 ($60/mo + $0.75/min * 10)
no plan = $15 ($1.50/min * 10)
@ 30 min of use...
30 min plan = $60 ($30/mo + $1/min * 30)
60 min plan = $82.50 ($60/mo + $0.75/min * 30)
no plan = $45 ($1.50/min * 30)
@ 50 min of use...
30 min plan = $80 ($30/mo + $1/min * 50)
60 min plan = $97.50 ($60/mo + $0.75/min * 50)
no plan = $75 ($1.50/min * 50)
@ 80 min of use...
30 min plan = $110 ($30/mo + $1/min * 80)
60 min plan = $120 ($60/mo + $0.75/min * 80)
no plan = $120 ($1.50/min * 80)
@ 100 min of use...
30 min plan = $60 ($130/mo + $1/min * 100)
60 min plan = $82.50 ($140/mo + $0.75/min * 80 + $1/min overage * 20)
no plan = $45 ($1.50/min * 150)

Alright... thanks for clearing that up. I am just annoyed b/c the plans are no longer pro-rated.
It it is also confusing b/c ON the sheet... it says: INCLUDED MINUTES: 30 (1.00/min)... it doesn't say that charge is overages.
It also says RIGHT next to it Per-Minute-Overage and those charges do not match the ones in parathensis.
Monthly Charge Included Minutes Per-Minute Overage
$30 30 ($1.00/min.) $1.00
$60 80 ($.75/min.) $1.00
$80 200 ($.60/min.) $1.00
I guess I am the i-d-i-o-t 🙂

The numbers in parentheses is how much you pay for that initial block: for $30, you get 30 minutes, which works out to $1/min for that block. For $80 you get 200 minutes, which works out to $.60/min for that block.
I'm not sure what you mean by prorated. If you have the plan at least a month, the plan will be prorated if you remove it in the middle of a bill cycles. If you don't want to pay for the whole block, you can pay per use at $1.50/minute.

Ah. I see. Thanks for clearing that up.
ATT's policy used to be (back in Feb 2012) if you signed up for int'l roaming... data or voice... you got your full allotted voice/data but only paid the amount you were there. So if you were there for 3 days... it would be $30/30 days = $1 / day * 3 days = $3!!! And still get the full 30 min to use.
It was always too good to be true... this plan makes more sense now.
That's for explaining to me.
