iphone 3gs to iphone 4 question
not sure where to post this question, but here goes,
my wife has a iphone 3gs on a single line and 1 year
left on her contract, i have a dumb phone on a single
and seperate line,no contract. she wants a iphone 4
but because she has 1 yr.left on her contract she
would have to pay 100.00 more for the i4 then if
i got it and signed a new contract.she is also afraid
that if she change's she will loose her unlimted plan,
my question is, is there any way she can get the i4
at my 100.00 less and i give her my upgrade and sign
a 2yr contract,hope this makes since.

Yup, its called a cross upgrade. Usually most corporate stores can complete these without any problems, although you both might want to go. Depending on how they do it, you might have to have both SIM cards replaced. At the very least the new iPhone 4 will need a SIM, but its a chance that the other SIM will be turned off too.
I hope this helps.
EDIT: Oh and make sure she calls customer service after the fact to make sure the unlimited plan is still on her line. Dont leave the store without confirming that.

Go buy a iPhone 4 gift card, you pay for it up front then you work out the account details later. I'm not sure if ATT sells those, I know Apple does. That way they have something to open for xmas.
