Why were we not told to "accept terms & conditions" before phone is shipped?

The AT&T rep who helped us order a phone last week did not say ANYTHING about us having to "accept terms and conditions BEFORE we'll ship your phone". I've wondered why I still not have not received any notification/ confirmation of my order, shipping & tracking details, etc. Now we're going out of town and I still don't have the phone, and am also afraid it will arrive while we're gone-- and possibly be stolen. I am very disappointed. If I needed to do something, I should have been told.

Re: Why were we not told to "accept terms & conditions" before phone is shipped?

Hello @bwsongs,

We do apologize for the miscommunication. Customers are required to accept AT&T Terms and Conditions via the AT&T Web site prior to shipment for any upgrade (2-year contract) or installment plan equipment purchase. We recommend that you either Cancel your wireless order and Order Online & Pickup in store or accept the Terms and Conditions, to have your wireless device shipped to your address within 1-3 business days. You can also contact the shipper to change your delivery address once it is ordered and the process is complete. Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

AT&T is a complete joke and a waste of valuable time. How they are still in business after their unethical practices, dishonest employees, and their horrible order processing is beyond me.
