Why AT&T has a different rate for new connection when order online

Why AT&T has a different rate for new connection when order online and a different rate in store. The problem is AT&T allow to order the new connection online and they cancel the order after 1 or 2 days. If this is not allowed for a general public, why the system apply a different rate online?

Hello @aniil09

Thank you for reaching out on the Community Forums.  I would be worried as well if my orders were repeatedly canceled.  I would be happy to help.

You should have received an email indicating why the order was canceled.  You can also check the status of the orders on this helpful page.  As for the difference in deals, some promotions are online only while others are only for certain areas.

You should be able to view prices for your area after entering in your address.  Another difference in price in stores will be whether you go to a Corporate AT&T store or an Authorized Retailer.  I hope this information helps, and please have a great rest of your day!

@aniil09

It is not unusual for any carrier to offer online only promotions on phones and air cards (cheaper prices)  and sometimes activation fees.

The cost of service is always the same as what is published online.

 In fact I took advantage of a $26 sim kit and first month combo on Verizon that would have cost me $65 if I signed up in the store.
