Upgrading an Individual Line on a Family Plan

Hi! I am an AT&T user who is part of a family plan, purchased by my father, and my phone is now eligible for an upgrade! However, I am a college student, and as such I now live several states away from my family, and it is rather difficult for me to make the journey to visit them, just for a phone upgrade. That being said, is it possible for me to upgrade my phone on the Family Plan, without my father being present?

 

If anyone knows the answer or has been in a similar situation, please let me know. Thanks!

Yes.  Have him add you as a retail authorized user.
