Tower down

Why am I being charged full price after calling AND receiving a text from AT&T saying the reason I have "no service" at my home is because a tower fell down and won't be repaired until 5/1/17?  Two months of diminished service and not even one penny less on my bill?   I have a teenage daughter that is driving on Florida roads and I can't reach her after school to make sure she's okay.  That's wrong AT&T.  You're about to lose this long time customer.

Have you asked for credit?

Yes lizdance40.  I was told I would receive a text confirming my credit request.  Instead, I received a text stating, "We have identified your technical issue. Estimated restoral date is 5/1/17." I can't call them from home because my phone can't make calls now.  Looked online for an email address and only found this forum.  Frustrating.  Went to Verizon tonight. I'm liking the no extra fee for data overages...

@BonnieC Those pennies aren't going to keep you in touch with your daughter.

What kind of phones do you have? Can you enable WiFi calling for at home?
