Hi @Adawjw,

We'd love to assist you with this! This all depends on where you want to use this new line. Do you want to have a separate line on a new account? Or do you want to have a separate line on the same account by itself? If you want to have a separate line on the same account, we'll need to collect additional information. If you want to set this up on a different account, you'll need to initiate a transfer of billing responsibility. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

We're here to help with moving two of the lines on your family plan to a separate account, @Bgates0315.

If your account is current with no past-due balance, follow the steps below to complete a Transfer of Billing Responsibility.

Current account owners:

  1. Go to Transfer Billing Responsibility
  2. Enter and review the account info to confirm it's correct.
  3. Create a 4-digit personal identification number (PIN). To complete the transfer process, the person taking over your service will need this PIN, your AT&T account number, and your ZIP Code.
  4. Follow the prompts to transfer billing responsibility.

Future account owners:

  1. Go to Accept Billing Responsibility.
  2. Enter the required info and select Next.
  3. Confirm that the account info is correct.
  4. Follow the prompts and agree to the Terms of Service.
  5. Select Submit.
  6. Contact us to complete your acceptance of AT&T billing responsibility. We’ll ask you for the AT&T account number and 4-digit PIN the current account owner gave you.

If you have any additional questions, please create a new thread as this one is 3 years old. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank You for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

Does each line on multiline plan have it's own pin?  I am the account holder - so I have a password as well, or is it just my pin?  Every time I sign into my account my PIN is rejected and I have to reset it.  Is the normal?
