Seems as though AT&T management has blocked me as I complained - AT&T censorship

I have had only bad experiences w AT*T reps. including the "high-level" escalation reps who answer high level complaints.

The front line reps all have the same bad idiosyncracies. They don't answer questions, the ignore questions.  You ask them a question and they start talking about something else. So I go - Hey wait a minute - you ignored my question - will you PLEASE answer my question at which point they once again IGNORE my question.  If they answer at all it is only after repeating this process numberous times like literally 5-6 times and begging them. That is bizarre, weird and pathetic that they do that.  Then they will sit in silence for long periods of time when it's their turn to speak.  This just goes on and on and is aggravating to the extreme.

So I decided to complain to top managment/escalation department and found a link and submitted a written complaint to the escalation team. I detailed all the issues one by one and a person in the escalation department emailed me back, "you didn't describe what your complaint was" even though I had clearly listed out all of the complaints. Duh???? What is up w that?  So I responded to him that yes - I had listed my complaints in the email I sent and then re-iterated the complaints all over again (I don't mind doing things over and over w AT&T - not much!) and then called this reps telephone number.  I got vmail and left voicemail messages.  I have now left several voice mail messages and its been over one week and I have not heard from him.  I tried calling other numbers in the escalation department and nobody EVER answers so I lvmssgs for several people. They NEVER called me back!  In addition - I just attempted to contact them via their chat feature but they appear to have me blocked.  I also tried to submit another online complaint through a link they had previously and I appear to be blocked from using that link to as I can't access it.

Wow - so apparently corp. escalations does not want to serve me.  Wow. I guess I will have to switch. The funn thing about it is that I run a company and we have over 2,000 cell phones for our reps. I was going to switch them to At&T but I guess I won't know.  I guess they don't care about me as a single user but they should have as you never really know who someone is that you might be dealing with.

Has anyone else been blocked?

Hello @Censored1!

We would like to check this out for you!

For your privacy, it would be best if we continue the conversation privately. I am sending you a private message (PM). Please check your forums private messages by clicking the envelope in the top section of this page or click Forums Inbox. Locate the PM from ATTCares and reply to my message with the requested account details.

Thank you!

People - here is what just happened.  Dwight of "ATT Cares" contacted me privately and said he would try to help.

I proceeded to tell him that I had sent complaint communications to the office of the president but that after their initial response asking me what my complaint was (I had totally listed my complaint in my initial correspondence so WHY they would respond asking me - what the problem is - is beyond all comprehension)  I responded AGAIN and then never heard back from office of the president though I had sent numerous emails and telephone calls.

So I explained all of this to Dwight - and Dwight responded, "great - I see you're working with the office of the president so are all set"   Goodbye.

Those are not his exact words but close enough.

Wow - so it appears DWIGHT is also blacklisting me??

NO DWIGHT - THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT IS POSITIVELY NOT HELPING ME AND AS I TOLD YOU IGNORED REPEATED EMAILS AND TELEPHONE CALLS. WHY WOULD YOU THEN SAY I AM ALL SET AND BEING TAKEN CARE OF??????

is this in the true spirit of AT& cares?

Subject me to the horrendous customer service reps, who cause me much trouble and aggravation, and the give me the blow-off all around?

Really?

I run a company w over 2,000 cell phones.

Here is what I sent to Dwight in a PM.

I don't feel an obligation to keep this private based on his response to me today which was something along the lines of:

"great- I see you're being helped by escalations and so goodbye"

Here is what I previously messaged Dwight and keep in mind his response that I just posted above:

"I told you what else happened in my forum post but Ill list it ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

so I replied to Jeremy of the presidents office and AGAIN listed out the issues, and I also called him, got his voice mail and left a voice mail messages several times.

I never heard back from him, he does not respond to repeated calls and emails, he never answers his telephone.

SO I left voicemails for 2 other people in his same department THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK EITHER!

Then - I tried to go back to the complaint link and I am blocked from using it.

I am also blocked from using the chat.

What is up w all of that?

AND ONCE AGAIN DWIGHTS RESPONSE TO ME (AFTER INITIALLY OFFERING TO HELP ME) WAS:

"Great. I see you're already being helped by the office of the president. Goodbye!"

That is not an exact quote but is basically what Dwight said.

Dwight- what do you have to say?

Just a guess, but maybe you’re  asking the wrong questions.  The fact you didn’t post a question or problem here, speaks volumes to me.

So I explained all of this to Dwight - and Dwight responded, "great - I see you're working with the office of the president so are all set"   Goodbye.

And he was correct to do so.

If the office of president has taken over your issue, then Dwight has to back off.

You run a company but can manage to post a simple query on a public forum?

Your first post came off evasive.  The second more of the same.

YOU have an award for excellence but don't even bother to read my original post that listed out ALL of the issues and IN ADDITION you ignore my subsequent post stating that the office of the president after initially responding to me has since gone underground and does not return my calls or emails?

Wow - you really have missed the boat and owe me an apology as I stated all of the issues. As regards your saying that Dwight is right to drop me - well then you ALSO did not read the part where I stated oop was ignoring my telephone calls and emails and I made him aware of that and he said he was going to try to help only later to say. "Oh I see you are all set w the oop"  Total cop out. Get your facts straight before you accuse people and make yourself look incompetent!

@lizdance40 I agree with you on this.

@Censored1 It seems like most of you're problems (From reading what you posted) is the techs/reps not being able to help or answer your questions.

You wrote a complaint so what is it you're expecting now? Are you expecting AT&T to tell you what they did to the Reps/Techs who've spoken with you? You mentioned running a business, when you have to discipline an employee do you go tell your clients/customers what you did? I would assume not, so why are you expecting AT&T to do so?

Aside form that there's some pretty informed & educated folks who roam the forums and can help you if you ask the right questions (meaning the one's you say the reps ignore).

{keep it courteous}

I sent a complaint in, the oop responded asking me for further details - even though I had already stated them.  So it's then the duty of the contact in the oop to never respond to me again?  Rubbish.  Hogwash!

Oh - so now the people on this forum are in charge of handling complaints about bad reps?  Really?  Hardly.  NO!  They are NOT!

@Censored1   Holy cow.   It’s very apparent to me why you’re not getting help.

. I absolutely listed all issues

No, you never did.   Not on this forum.

Not in the first, second or any subsequent post did you include your list of problems that caused you to contact At&t.  All you have done is complain reps couldn’t answer the questions/problems.   Then you escalated those to ATTCares and office of President.     If you have provided the same information as posted on this thread, then note, there is NONE provided.

Issues with employees or call centers are internal.  Your complaint will be taken, but you will get no response.  It’s none of your business how any company handles its employees.
