Recovering old cell phone records.

I called at&t wireless today to ask about recovering old phone records. The lady said if it was farther back that what is on the login usage page it has to be court ordered. But I saw something a while back that said I could get up to 5 years. If anyone can help I'm in a lot of need.  Thank you

Re: Recovering old cell phone records.

Hi

This may be kind of crazy but i want access to my  wireless and all mobile phone records from april 2003 - march 2007.

From what i was informed, only the fed government can make such requests and even then its has to be validated as an investigation. There has to be a way and I am willing to go through whatever process necessary. Thanks.

AT&T has to keep 7 years of records, I understand they keep 10.  They do not keep 12 to 16 years back.

As a customer, you are entitled to your own records.  You can call and ask for your old bill reprints as far as 2009.  No usage is included in old reprints, only billing.

They aren’t required to and would have purged older than 10 years.

@GodsDescendant You can’t get what doesn’t exist. There is no way ATT has records back that far. Even if they did, as noted above it would only be the billing information, not the usage logs.
