My phone says "No Service." & when I try to call or text, I get a message that says, "emergency service only."
How do I fix this???

Thanks!
I removed the big card inside the phone & put it back in - it works fine now. Something similar happened a few months ago - but it took me until this a.m. to remember that removing the card & putting it back in solved the problem. At the time, the guy at the store said the card could have gotten jostled. I don't think it's damaged, but I'll have to remember this fix.
Thanks, again. You were very helpful.
Kudos!

That happened to me when I dropped my phone. Getting a new SIM will not prevent it from getting jostled when the phone is dropped or bumped. Taking out an replacing SIM is the first "correction" suggested with the "no service" error.
Now if it becomes a very frequent problem, I would then say to replace the SIM.

I live in Los Angeles and we have many, many dead zone. Very large dead zone. No service here means we ahve ATT. It doesn't mean we have a technical problem - it means we have servie with the cell company that finished DEAD LAST in Consumer Reports in Cell service. It means we have service with the laziest and least competent group of people in the industry.

How do you pull the card out of iPhone? I have a 3Gs and it reports "No Service" I always get service where I am.
