Hello @Bancim,

We'd be more than happy to take a closer look into why your mobile hotspot is showing that it has no internet connection. We'll need some more details in order for us to better assist you. Are you referring to a personal mobile hotspot that can be turned on in the settings of a cell phone, or a dedicated mobile hotspot device? If you have a dedicated mobile hotspot device, which one are you using? Also, are you having any issues with your mobile hotspot's internet connection, or is it only showing that you have no internet connection on the hotspot itself? Please let us know. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello @Bancim,

Thank you for informing us. What kind of cell phone are you using for your mobile hotspot, and what kind of cell phone are you trying to connect with? Have you already made sure to Check your current data usage to verify that you have not reached the data limit for your personal mobile hotspot? Also, which cell phone is showing no internet connection? Are you able to reach the point in which the other cell phone is prompted to connect/enter the password for the personal mobile hotspot to be connected, or is the hotspot not showing up as an option in the Wi-Fi settings of the other cell phone at all? We'll be patiently awaiting your response.

Hi, @Bancim,

Thank you for providing that information. When you try to use the iPhone as a hotspot, that option is in settings, correct,or is it greyed out? Can any other device read the signal from the iPhone? Can your Samsung phone pick up any Wi-Fi signals?

Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on for your S9+.

  1. Swipe down on the Notifications bar, then select the Settings icon.
  2. Select Connections.
  3. Select Wi-Fi.

If Wi-Fi is toggled on and still can't read the signal from your iPhone, press and hold the Power/Lock button on the S9+, then select Restart. Select Restart again to confirm.

If your S9+ is still not picking up the hotspot signal from your iPhone after this, please let us know.

Can you use the internet from your iPhone? Do you see LTE or 4G on your iPhone display?

Hi @Bancim

Have you tried resetting your network settings? Go to Settings > General managementReset, then tap Reset network settings. Let us know if that works.

Hi @Bancim

Have you tried any other device that runs off of WiFi on this hotspot connection? If not, let's try that.
