Phone is not receiving email messages from a few email accounts cause it's telling me that "master sync" is turned off. Where in my phone do I go to turn on?

Are you using an Android or an iPhone? If you are using an iPhone, I recommend going to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch. If you are using an Android I recommend going to Settings > Accounts> More > Turn Auto Sync On.
