I need my old number Back! Is there some way to get it turned on to my phone or forward calls & text

I used to be a customer of Cricket Wireless. I changed my phone service not knowing that I could have kept my old number.  Now I'm unable to access my Primary Email because I forgot to take off the 2 step authentication! Now I have no access to my Email and I can't get into a number of my other Important accounts! Can someone anybody help me or at least point me in the right direction?

You would have to be with8n 60 days of cancelation and request Cricket activate your number again. Only then can you Port the number to ATT, or google voice.

🤦🏼‍♀️.   You will have to reopen your closed account to recover a phone number.

You can rephrase the question, but the answer is the same.  To recover a number you have to try to get the carrier to reopen your account.

Dont know how much clearer that can get.

If it was an AT&T account, call AT&T and hope they can help you.

Hi @! Let's address your reverse number change inquiry!

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee AT&T can get your old number back after 59 days of porting out or changing your number. The number has to be an AT&T number, number ported in from other carriers go back to carrier and AT&T can not retrieve them.

We hope this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the community!

I went the dangerous route and texted my old number. It appears AT&T recycles numbers and gave my number to another customer.

I asked the person with my old number for the code that was sent to my old phone number and they did and this allowed me to unlock my account.  Once you unlock your phone update your account with the new phone number.  I hope the person helps you.
