I have never been able to access myAT&T online account

I have a new ATT account which is a month old and have never been able to access the online account.  I have wasted about 5-10 hours with ATT 'Support' but they have done nothing except try to reset my password.  The username/password authenticates but then it loops back to the login screen and says:  "A temporary system error prevents us from retrieving your account information right now. This type of problem usually lasts only a few minutes but may continue for several hours.
For help right now, contact us Customer Care.
(LGN0817)"

 

I've tried Chrome, IE, Opera, mobile, and the ATT app, nothing works and support is useless.  I received an e-mail for my first bill and of course its paperless which I can not access.  I did call the make sure its switched to paper and they said they would mail out the current bill as well.  Has anyone dealt with this?  Is there anything that can be done or just drop ATT and go back to verizon?

I understand you are having trouble with myAT&T access.  It is important to get this access so you can manage your account.  We here at AT&T can definitely assist you with this.

This is still not resolved and I have received another e-mail notification that a bill is due.  I've requested paper billing but I do not get the bills.  Do I need to file a complaint with the state attorney general?  All I want is to get a bill and pay it, but this has been ongoing July and its getting ridiculous that a company like ATT cant resolve it.  Either resolve the access to the online accounts or send paper statements as requested.

I filed the complaint with the state attorney general for billing without giving me a bill.  Hopefully AT&T can fix the situation, but at this point I'm not so sure.  To recap, Ordered service in mid-July and have never been able to log in.  I've wasted about a dozen calls to support, IM chats, e-mails, message posts.  No resolution.  AT&T has not yet turned on paper billing and getting them to mail a paper bill is like pulling teeth.  To top it off, the last time I called the AT&T rep was trying to get me to give her my password and answers to my security questions.

Same thing is happening with me. This is so frustrating . I have been following up on this issue from past one week and trying to login into my account and pay my bill. But i am not able to do so. Each time i talk to customer care i have explain them my issue every time and the best the can do is to start troubleshooting about browser and sending me temporary passwords to reset it. Where as they don't get the problem at all. Such a waste of energy and time.
