How long after changing rate plans does it take affect?

I just recently upgraded my phone through Radio Shack and was not given the choice to keep my original rate plan. I was, however, able to change it back once this new one took affect prorated at the beginning of the billing cycle. But my bill is still showing the other rate plan.

How long does it take to show the correct rate plan and amount I owe?

It would depend on the billing cycle and the date of the changes.

The bill is a "snapshot" of your account on the billing date. Anything that happens after that date is effective on the date, but you won't see it until the next bill.

Let's say your bill date is the 15th on the month. If you make changes on the 16th (or after), the representative can prorate the billing back to the 15th, but it would take another cycle for that to print on the bill.

If you look at your current services, it would show up immediately.

If you look at your paperless bill, it would be the same as if you had a paper bill...it's still a snapshot.

Thank you for your help.

The bill should be adjusted online, also. It does show in the usage area the old plan, but below that shows the current.
