Death of wireless contract holder

My mom and I are on the same plan. It is under her name but I have all of the access information because I have been paying it since she started to get sick. My mom passed away. I want to cancel her line but I am hesitate to because I have unlimited data. I have talked to multiple att representatives in store and online and they are telling me different things. Will I be able to keep my unlimited data when I transfer billing responsibilities since my mom passed away?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

This may provide more information, can't say it's less confusing.  Especially not during a time of great stress.

If I understand it correctly, you can use power of attorney to change the account to your name.and cancel her line.  Her estate is responsible to pay off any ETF on her line.

If you need more help message @ATTMobilityCare through the forum.
