Cannot get service because previous owners haven't canceled their service

How can my clients get internet service with AT&T if the previous homeowner hasn't canceled their service? I told them to go with another company if they aren't interested in taking their money.

They should ask the previous homeowner to have the service disconnected. The real estate agents should assist them in this.
