Is there a way to reactivate my blacklisted phone?

I found my phone and want to reactivate it for my daughter. Called AT&T and they said because it wasn’t found in 30 days it stays blocked nothing I can do. This sounds ridiculous. There has to be a way to reactivate it.

The 30 days isn’t why.  If you replaced the phone under insurance, the phone belongs to Asurion and they will not remove from blacklist.

I did get a replacement. However I’ve asked if I can purchase the phone for whatever they would ask for since it isn’t damaged. They said I can’t buy the phone it’s permanently on the blacklist. Seems extreme if I’m willing to pay for the phone.

Assurion owns the phone if you really get down to it.
