Hello @Calidavid818,

We can definitely assist you with getting a shipping label. You can click on this link to Learn how to request a prepaid mailing return label. For additional details, check out how to Mail Your Return. You can also Visit an AT&T company-owned store to make a return. Please keep in mind that if you didn’t purchase the return device directly from AT&T, the return policy where you purchased your device applies. Let us know if this helps.

Ok so I bought my phone in an official att store by my house. I need to send this phone back before this ridiculous 14 days comes up and the only reason I'm now having to do all this in the first place is because bthe service rep at the store messed up and applied the promo I went for towards the phone I'm sending back not the one I would end up with and because they had nine in stock I'm now having to trade this phone in and go without a phone for 3 weeks(suggested delivery date) and being after 6pm in a Sunday I can't get a label anywhere but my post office here is open 7 days a week till 11pm. So officially it should be postmarked for today or I'll pass this mysterious 14 days mark  lose my $800 promo pay for a new phone and go without one for 3 weeks on a mistake done by your own employee. In the solution above it says you can make the return at any company owned store, is that no longer true because I'm being told I need to print a label and mail it but I physically bought it in that store why can't I bring it back to that store because of this insane and unfair "rule" I'm gonna be triple screwed and it's literally because your guys messed up and now I'm in a helluva bind with no recourse. Talk about stress level going from 0-100 immediately. Why does it say here you can bring it back to the store when I'm being told I have to do it this way? Yes it's %100 an att store and I got it there they just had to send it to me overnight becsuse it wasn't in stock. But I paid my cash there in that store so that's where I bought it.

Hello Jonnyy5, this is definitely not the experience that we want you to have. Let's look into how you can return the device.

The policy of returning the device to the store during the 14-day return period

has not changed, and you should be able to return it back to the store. You may want to speak with the manager at that store with your receipt in hand.

Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns, and thank you for  reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums.
