Thank you so much for your patience in reaching me! I understand you would like to get some more information on how to remove applications from an Android device. I would be more than happy to help you with this!
Addressbook is a service no longer offered by AT&T. Most Android devices will allow you to manage your apps through an Application Manager in the Settings menu. You can access our Device Support Tool, specify your device, and locate step by step instructions on how to add and remove applications from your device.
If you are unable to remove the application, this could indicate it is a preinstalled application. These apps are locked on the device by the manufacturer or the carrier. If some applications are out dated or no longer in use, you can check to make sure the device is on the most current software version. If it is, there may be options available to customize what apps are shown on your screen and hide apps you do not want to see.
I hope this helps and if you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us back!
Have a wonderful day!
