A little dissapointed.
I went to my local AT&T store today to look at getting new phones for my wife and I. We've been customers since 2008 I think, and have always used this store and been very pleased with both our phone and the customer service. I asked if there were any deals like the BYGO IPhone 7 deal Sprint was offering. I was told no, that I would have to pay normal rates. After nearly 10 years with AT&T I was left to walk out the door. Tomorrow I'll take the time to shop the other carriers, I'd be a fool to pay for two phones instead of 1. I really wish you took care of your old customers like you do the new ones.

No carrier does that. Bogo deals are to steal customers and soften the blow of paying for the equivalent of 3 months bill when you switch.

BOGO deals are really about adding lines of service, whether from another carrier or not. ATT did have a buy one get one for the iPhone 7 but it ended Friday, I think. It did require adding a line but it was available to existing customers. If you do end up switching to a different carrier, just make sure they provide the coverage you need where you need it. You won't care how much you're saving if your service is lousy.
