$50 restaurant gift card for signing up for autopay

I'm having this problem as i see many others are as well. I received an email on Dec 9th, 2016 stating that if I enrolled in Autopay for 3 billing cycles, I would receive a $50 restaurant.com egift card. I have done so and completed over 3 billing cycles and have not received anything as yet. I called customer care they tranfer me to direct tv rewards which they have nothing to do with tranfer me back going in circles. Can someone please tell me how to get my giftcard?

Hello @Carter22,

I completely understand how concerning it can be to have waited this long to receive the $50 eGift card for enrolling in our autopay program. I am very sorry to hear this. We definitely want to get you taken care of!

Since you have not received the eGift card yet, I would highly recommend you visit the reward center so you can check the status of your offer. If this doesn’t provide you with any information as to when you will be receiving it, you can definitely call our “Group O” department at 800-288-9983 for further information.

I hope you they clear this up and you receive it soon! If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Thank you so much for your time, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

I have tried the reward center it does not find my information. I have call att wireless customer care and they transfer me to the reward center and they transfer me back to wireless. No one has a solution. I received the email on 12/9/16 to enroll and i signed up on 12/9/16. This is a snippet of the email. It has not been that SIMPLE! I still have not got my giftcard.

Best of luck.  Just like you, I've called the reward center, been transferred to three different departments, asked to call restaurant.com who then promptly returned me to AT&T and was just recently given a private message that was a canned response setting forth the rules on the $50 AutoPay offer.

Still silence from AT&T after replying to their request for a private message.  This is the third try for resolution via private messaging.  Calling AT&T doesn't work, call restaurant.com doesn't work, private messaging doesn't work.  How does someone get the $50 reward card after completing the offer terms?  I don't understand how AT&T can offer this promotion with all of these complaints- some going as far back as 2014.

The restaurant reward is a scam! I contacted a rep and he stated that the promotion expired. Well, of course. I enrolled into the offer when the offer was active. Although he gave me the credit, the rep did not even acknowledge that the program was a scam. I told the rep that it unfair that a person would not even receive anything if they do not reach out to someone and he totally disregarded the statement. Great job.

I am having the same problem. Received the $50 egift card offer on Feb. 29, signed up for auto pay on March 1. I've had more than the required number of automatic payments and my account is in good standing. I have been trying for more than a month to get this straightened out. I've had 3 chat session, each time being told they would look into the problem and fix it. I've been given 3 1-800 numbers to call for AT&T but still no help. Then I was given the number for restaurant.com and was told they are no longer affiliated with AT&T and that the promotion has expired. I've been told over and over that I would soon receive an email with instructions on how to claim my card but nothing!

I am ready to switch carriers over this. Can't believe AT&T would have such a scam promotion.

I received the offer on 2/28/17, signed up for AutoPay 3/1/17, and still to date have not received an egift card for restaurant.com. I called at&t today, in which I was given no less than 5 different numbers to call. After no resolution and calling all the numbers, I called the main customer service number and demanded a manager.  I told the rep that I had been dealing with this issue for over an hour and a half and I wanted a $50 credit on my account in leu of the egift card. That their customer service has been a joke in regards to this issue, and that having been a customer for over 15 years am sorely disappointed. I am still on hold (for the 3rd time) to get the credit, so I wish you luck. I will NEVER do another thing through at&t for promotion.
