300mb overage charge of $20
I'm trying to learn more about att plans. I see that someone can select a data plan of 300mb per month for $20. If you go over the 300mb you are charged $20 more though?!
Is there a reason the charge is so high for such a little anount of data. Is this simply att trying to persuade or scare customers into paying 10 dollars more? I understand that $10 is not a lot of money but per person it is. Any opinions or knowledge on this topic??

Yup, that's pretty much it. However you can up your data plan mid month and only pay the extra $10.
If if you are out of contract you can always switch to the prepaid 1.5 GBS plan with roll over.
