Paid bills for more than 6 months, still can't unlock
I've been paying monthly bills for my iphone since October (not missing a single month) and still when I try to request the unlock code from at&t they say that :
"We can't complete your request at this time because the device hasn't had active paid service for at least six months."
At least provide me with details of how many months I've had active paid service then. I'm spending my summer abroad and now I probably have to buy a new phone here.
Any tips on what to do?

That's strange. Paid service for six months isn't one of the criteria listed to qualify for unlocking.
Do you meet all of the other requirements?
