Why is ATT Navigator no longer supported on Tilt 8925?

Last May 22, 2013 I had received an ‘AT&T Free Msg: AT&T Navigator is being discontinued on this device the first week of June 2013. You don’t have to do a thing. We will be removing the subscription from your bill. Thank you for being an AT&T customer.’

would suspect because the phone is 5 years old and runs windows mobile 6, there is proably an update for the app coming out for enhancement and it will not work on the WM6

Seems to be the logical conclusion. After making a quick call to the TeleNAV customer service representatives,  they were able to confirm that the Tilt 8925 was no longer being supported using the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS. Another quick call to AT&T Technical support also confirmed that after the author’(s) for the TeleNAV application program re-wrote and updated the program, changed the connections from the old MediaNet connection within IE. To a new connection at att.net and the new connection must be using an updated browser for the new devices.  AT&T technical support also mention the only devices able to access TeleNAV were ‘Android’, ‘iPhone’ and ‘Blackberry’.

Not really sure if Windows 8 OS is being supported by the AT&T Navigator platform. Worth asking AT&T Technical Support though.
