RIM's Decision to pull blackberries from consumer market and only go to Prof/ Enterp sys

Read recently that RIM will no longer compete in the consumer market. They will now consentrate only on the Professional or Enterprise market. I have had a blackberry (or more) on me since 2003 before they had phones.

How will this change effect us and our data plans?

I don't think they are abandoning the consumer market. Just concentrating on the other opportunities.
