Nokia 2520 multiple BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)

Brand new 2520: Turned on added WIFI (fast connection)(20meg)

added existing hotmail account that worked on Surface RT 8.1 and Windows 8.1 PC

during updates new out of the box, got BSD and various errors

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL (multiple times)

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT HANDLED (qcpep8974.sys) (multiple times)

reset the system and did no updates and still BSD. Hoping Nokia has patch for the issue.\

Had windows phones since the beginning and Nokia has been good about updates and firmware fixes. but they need to know if the problems exist. Ordered from local store, but no stock and delivered to calif from Dallas.

Anyone else have multiple BSOD?  have had over 10 with just browsing the internet.

So, suggest you restore to factory default via recovery image

Don't install/setup anything, do all the window updates it suggests, keep checking for updates until it reports you're up to date.

You should have no BSOD. If you do in this state, you have a machine with a hardware issue, so work on getting it replaced.

If not, proceed :smileyhappy:
