Is there an email/web-message version of GoPhone support?
I'm having a problem that may require me to send you the IMEI of a problematic phone, and it seems to me that email or some kind of private message is the best way of doing this -- better than reading it over the phone on a phone call, or posting it here in a public message.
I don't believe so. The live chat is not available for GoPhone customers and that would've been the best avenue. In general GoPhone customers get a lot less support than the contract customers do. So it looks like you'll have to resort to the phone call as posting IMEI publicly is against the rules and will only get your message edited by a moderator to exclude it. If a moderator does offer his/her help, then you can PM them your IMEI, but they have to respond to your inquiry first.

dmapr is correct that is no Live Chat for GoPhone support. If you are having IMEI issues, I highly recommend visiting a Company Retail Store for support. They will be able to update your account properly and troubleshoot most issues much quicker than over the phone. I personally see that in many cases you will need to visit a retail store for verification purposes when it involves either an IMEI or SIM Card for prepaid customers -- this is done to provide an extra layer of security for your account.
