Deactivating my service

Hi, I entered into a $40 monthly prepaid in November when holidaying in the US.  When I returned to Australia in December I forgot to deactivate this account and I have been charged $40 per month since then.  I do not have a pin number that I am aware of and if I log in via the computer to receive this 'forgotton' pin it says it will send me an sms. I cannot receive any sms as my sim card will not work in my phone as I am overseas. Is anybody able to assist? Thanks
