Cannot receive 2-Step Verification Texts?!?!?!

As of one week ago, I cannot receive any 2-step verification texts from Google, Apple, my bank, Facebook, etc.

 

I have an iPhone 5S on iOS 7.0.3. This occurred last week on my original phone and continued after getting a replacement phone. I can get all SMS,MMS, and iMessage texts from friends, families, non-contacts, and AT&T.   On the new phone, I did not restore from my backup. I did a new setup.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?  I have a support ticket in with Apple and AT&T But have not heard back yet...

Are you talking about SMS messages or are you talking about notifications?  Are you getting messages from others?

 

I would double check your message settings and make sure it is properly enabled.  You may even want to togle things off then back on.

It's the messages that are short codes (?) with the "shorter phone numbers". I am getting all SMS, MMS,  iMessages, and emails.

 

I have everything toggled correctly.  Which toggle would relate to this problem?

I was thinking the send as SMS switch might help.

 

Look at the other switches on the bottom; all mine are on except for the show subject field.  Call ATT and have them verify the setup on their end.

 

You could also try to reset your network settings under Settings>General>Reset.  You will need to rejoin wifi networks but that may clear something out???

AT&T shows no blocking on there end, but this issue is not phone specific.  It happened on my first 5S and then I got a replacement (new SIM card too) due to continual crashing. I setup the new phone from scratch (not from a backup) and it has continued on the new phone.  It must be an AT&T side thing. 

 

I have the same settings as you except no read receipt or character count.

Call ATT and have them confirm the setup on your account.  They may need to undo the setup and redo it????????
