Camera very grainy after update on 920

After I installed the gdr2/amber update my screen has become very grainy when using the camera. My pics, while a little clearer than the screen, still don't turn out as sharp as before the update. I have tried adjusting ALL settings using both the default camera and proshot app. This is extremely frustrating as the camera was one of the deciding factors in me choosing this phone.

Can you post an example before/after photo?

What lighting conditions?

"grainy" photos usually mean a very high ISO value is used in low light settings without flash, or very high shutter speeds which force a high ISO.

Have you also tried powering off/on the phone?

I'll try to post some pics later. I have the ISO set at 100, shutter auto. Lighting is inside, normal light. Just took pic outside, full daylight and it looked pretty good. Thanks for the response.

Thanks for the response. Right now, after playing with the settings for about a week, outdoor pics seem to beas crisp and sharp as before. I'm just having problems dialing in settings to make the indoor(not really low light)pics as crisp.
