Alcatel OT871a phone

Alcatel OT871a phone

Alcatel OT871a phone is too smart for the AT&T voicemail system. The phone automatically enters a "dash" after 3 digits are entered because it thinks you are entering a phone number. The AT&T voicemail system cannot accommodate a "dash" and wants all digits. Is the only solution to have no password?
By the way, there is no method to enter "no password".

Hi rgstreich,

How are you accessing your voicemail? Password can be disabled, is that what you need to do?
