AT&T next

Ok so is AT&T next for everybody? I have almost completed my 1 year and wondering if I could upgrade.

Also is the phone "free" or does the cost just get "split" into 12 months ?

Re: AT&T next

There is a credit check that will be run and you must be in a qualified credit class, if you are eligible for a regular upgrade and creedit check returns ok you will qualify. As per cost, you must pay taxes only up front.

Re: AT&T next

It is a 20 month payment plan and as long as you make 12 conscutive payments you are eligible for a new device after 12 months

you cannot switch to att next until your current agreement is expired once it is expired then you can go in and upgraded your device and switch to the next agreement

Re: AT&T next

AT&T next is a rip off. You're paying for your subsidy in your current rates. With next, you pay the same rates (which includes your current subsidy) and then they tack on the phone surcharge, essentially making you pay twice for the phone. At least tmobile had the guts to reduce the monthly rates when the subsidy was reclassified as a phone surcharge that would go away.

but t-mobile also tags on additional fees for you to have the privilige of usig the jump program plus the majority of devices require a down payment, so it pretty well washes out. they also only offer 1 voice text plan with the program. They may have "lowered" their rates but they make it up on the surcharges
