not receiving text messages from email

I have a new Samsung SkyRocket (4G LTE).


I used to be able to receive text messages sent from email, addressed as <mycellnumber>


I no longer can receive those, instead I get an error email sent back to the email system:



This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:

< has restricted SMS e-mail

Please reply to 
if you feel this message to be in error.




I have tried this from my own mail system as well as my AT&T webmail acct, same issue.


I can recieve text messges sen via the AT&T text message feature on myATT.


Anyone else having this issue?

An update...within appx 1hr of posting this info, now all is working!


As much as I'd like to think AT&T saw this and fixed my problem, I am not so delusional to really think that is what happened :-)

I am trying to send Text message by email (sending mail to 10Digit Number@TXT.ATT.NET), but each time I am getting error.




The following recipient(s) could not be reached:


  XXXXXXXXXX@TXT.ATT.NET on 12/1/2011 2:26 PM

  There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.  Please contact your system administrator.

  < #5.5.0 smtp;550 Invalid recipient: < XXXXXXXXXX @TXT.ATT.NET>>




Please help me out of this.
