basic voicemail question from a newbie - HELP!
Edited by Phil-101 on May 6, 2012 at 9:28:07 PM

I need to access 20 voicemail messages ASAP on my wife's U2800A. She's had the phone 6 months, set up a voicemail message, and never attempted to access voicemail.

Following AT&T online directions, I set up 1-817-***-**** as the voicemail retrieval number, and when I call it, they're looking for a mailbox number. Nothing I tried works, and I have no idea what to do next.

Is there a "forgot mailbox number" reset option? If no, how can I find the mailbox number?

Your VM Box# is the phone's 10 digit number.
