Will M-Cell still work for visitors with AT&T if we switch to Verizon?

My husband and I both have iPhone on AT&T, however, we are thinking of switching to Verizon.  My question is, if we switch to Verizon, will the Microcell still work for friends and family who visit that have AT&T?

Probably not. The MicroCell needs to be registered to the primary owner of the account. If that account is closed, the MicroCell will eventually get deactivated because your AT&T phone number will no longer be valid.
