Skyfire is a mobile browser available for Android that will play some Flash. Can't help with the copy/paste, though.

Yeah Skyfire is awesome!  Hulu doesn't work on it though. Flash Player is included with FroYo... Android 2.2. No word yet on if the Backflip will get 2.2. I will get Eclair 2.1 though. Check out Motorola's Android Upgrade News Page.

WRT copying text to the clipboard, I don't do text messaging, but this works everywhere I've tried it (emails, browser, etc.):

  1. Flip out the keyboard
  2. Hold the shift key down (not alt)
  3. Drag your finger over the text you want copied
  4. Release the shift key

Alternatively, you can use backtrack to do it.

  1. While holding the shift key down, use backtrack to position the cursor at the start/end of the text you want to copy
  2. Double-tap to start the selection
  3. Drag the cursor to highlight the text you want
  4. Release the shift key

I have to say that backtrack is really bad at this. Using the arrow keys to do it would be much easier. The finger method is pretty ok, though.
