Using Verizon Samsung Galaxy 7" Tab with AT&T MiFi 2372---in other countries

I have just ordered the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab (7") but am concerned that it may not work (for connecting to the Internet, Web browsing, e-mail, and sending and receiving text messages) from another country (even Canada), especially outside of public WiFi hotspots like coffee shops.  It is not on the Verizon list of globally capable devices.

However, would it work if it were connected to an AT&T MiFi 2372 (which is an internationally capable mobile hotspot) (assuming I had the AT&T international data plan)?

It will work just fine, but will be costly. 200 megs of Eoropean data will run you Apx $200. Look at xcomglobal -- they rent country specific MiFis for about $17 a day. You can do cheaper with an unlocked MiFi and local prepaids.

I wanted to add-on to my old post, but the time has passed. Here is a link to ATT's global plan:

Here is a link to xcomglobaL

Here is an unlocked 3g router similar to the MiFi that can be had for $140:

Here is a vendor of prepaid SIM cards if you want something before you land:
