    Switching up contacts texts?
Edited by tiffanykitty on Aug 13, 2011 at 9:29:40 AM

My friend sent me a message today saying he got a text that was from me, but I never sent it. It was obviously from someone else, because at first I had no idea what he was talking about when he showed me what "I" said, and it mentioned someone I don't even know, but when they recieved it, it said it was from me. What's going on? Has this happened to anyone before, switching up contacts?

Someone couldn't have been in my phone. I live alone in my apartment and my phone was near me all night and all morning. There's also no trace of this message in MY phone.

    I have an iPhone 4.

its called spoofing. they send a message and spoof the number to make any number the want look like the sender.
